Niko Sub-processors
Effective: Jan 11, 2023
To support delivery of our Services, Niko Technologies, Inc. may engage and use data processors with access to certain Customer Data (each, a "Subprocessor"). This page provides important information about the identity, location and role of each Subprocessor. Terms used on this page but not defined have the meaning set forth in the Customer Terms of Service or superseding written agreement between Customer and Niko (the "Agreement").
Privacy & Google User Data
Niko Technologies, Inc. (“Niko”) uses Google OAuth and Google Workspace APIs to allow users to sign in and optionally connect their Google account to the Niko service.
Google User Data We Access
Depending on user authorization, Niko may access basic Google account information (such as name and email address), and Google Workspace metadata (such as organization or domain information). Niko does not access Google email content, files, or messages unless explicitly enabled by the user and required for a specific feature.
How We Use Google User Data
Google user data is used solely to authenticate users via Google Sign-In, associate users with their organization or workspace, and enable optional Google Workspace–related features. Google user data is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
Data Sharing
Google user data is not sold or shared with third parties. Data may be processed by authorized Sub-processors listed on this page solely to provide and maintain the service.
Data Storage and Security
All user data, including Google user data, is protected using industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.
Data Retention and Deletion
Google user data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service. Users may request deletion of their data by contacting support@getniko.com, and we will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required by law.
Third Parties
Niko currently uses third party Sub-processors to provide infrastructure services, and to help us provide customer support and email notifications. Prior to engaging any third party Subprocessor, Niko performs diligence to evaluate their privacy, security and confidentiality practices, and executes an agreement implementing its applicable obligations.
